New model Blackhawk grips fit Single Six, Old Army, Vaquero and Super Blackhawk with the rounded trigger guard.
From time to time, you will find the roll pin that goes through the frame bent where they will misalign the grips with the frame. In these cases, we recommend that you replace the roll pin. You may also find the pin is offset and keeping one side of the grip from laying flat to the frame. Simply remove the grips and re-center the pin and reassemble the grips. DO NOT USE THE GRIP SCREW TO FORCE THE GRIPS TOGETHER.
SIG P938
If your Sig P938 has a disconnector bar raised above the frame or that rubs on your grip, DO NOT USE THE FIREARM
You will need to cut a 1/4″ notch on the back of the grip to accommodate it. Verify the correct functionality of your firearm by a qualified gunsmith before use.
The original Colt Government 1911 model has been duplicated by many other manufacturers ( such as Smith & Wesson, Kimber, Ruger, Dan Wesson, Ed Brown, Iver Johnson, Remington, Rock Island Armory, Springfield Armory, Sig Sauer, Taurus, Wilson, Combat, Les Baer, Nighthawk, Para Ordnance, and so many more).
AS a general rule, ALTAMONT 1911 Full-Size Panels will fit all full-size guns made by other manufacturers. You may want to measure the space between screws to make sure you have a Full Size 1911. If your 1911 is 3 1/16 between screws, then you have a Full Size. If your 1911 is 2 11/16 between screws, then it is a Compact, Officers, or Defender 1911.
